Wednesday, June 27th, 2012: The Idaho Falls Chukars learned that Orlando Calixte is likely to be out for 4 months after he injured himself being hit by a pitch in today's game against the Orem Owlz. A round of tests by the team doctor revealed the injury to be a broken bone in the elbow. Upon hearing the diagnosis, the Idaho Falls manager told the press, "As you all know, we can't control injuries -- they are a part of the game. We just have to do the best we can until Orlando is back in action."
Presently Calixte is batting .355 with 1 home run and 5 RBIs. He has played in 9 games and scored 5 times.
